Part Time Personal Trainer (101)
FUSE Fitness Studio anticipating opening Winter 2021 is actively recruiting a Personal Trainer to join the team and help build a culture that delivers to our members feel energized.


Fuse Fitness Studio is a unique Adult fitness facility with a strong focus on providing Hybrid model programs with technology online and traditional exercise classes. You will experience a professional, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We combine traditional workout areas with immersive fitness programs for balanced and refreshed experience. We provide a holistic approach to fitness and wellness for individuals by delivering the highest level of personal service and attention to our members in the Kingsland Junction and surrounding community.


Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Manager, the Personal Trainer will deliver safe personal training services and quality programs to members of FUSE Fitness Studio and residents of Kingsland Junction.


We are currently recruiting for a Part Time Personal Trainer.


Job Duties:

• Deliver Personal Training programs to a variety of Adult age groups and demographics;
• Fitness program planning and implementation including, but not limited to, development of content, session outcomes, and set-up and takedown of fitness equipment required for Personal Training programs;
• Ensure safety and enjoyment for clients by following facility health and safety policies, certifications guidelines, the scope of practice and Provincial legislation;
• Perform on going equipment checks during and return equipment in its designated location after the program;
• Ensure appropriate use of the facility by patrons and guests and enforce facility guidelines and rules;
• Performs other related duties as required.


Qualifications and Experience:

• Current certification in Personal Training through the CSEP-CPT, CSEP-CEP, CSCS, or AFLCA;
• Current Standard First Aid with CPR/AED;
• A degree in Recreation, Kinesiology, Physical Education;
• Certifications and other licenses consider an asset like TRX, FMS, High Performance, and Older Adult;
• Personal Training: 3-year program leadership experience;
• Exceptional customer service: 2 years focus, good organizational skills, and the ability to work autonomously and as a team member;
• Good working knowledge and use of various software applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Shapenet;
• Hours of work for this position are irregular and vary by program and client appointments (includes days, evenings, and weekends).
