Fuse Fitness Studio is a unique Adult fitness facility with a strong focus on providing Hybrid model programs with technology online and traditional exercise classes. You will experience a professional, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We combine traditional workout areas with immersive fitness programs for balanced and refreshed experience. We provide a holistic approach to fitness and wellness for individuals by delivering the highest level of personal service and attention to our members in the Kingsland Junction and surrounding community.

Position Overview:

The Group Fitness Instructor reports directly to the Manager, and will provide in class fitness instruction, knowledge, coaching and motivation to members to help them achieve their fitness goals. Our Group Fitness Instructors will provide a fun and safe environment in our Studio Fitness classes.

The Fitness programs provides its member and non-member the convenience of workouts accessible with options on-line, live and in person group classes. From group or corporate to individual training the company will customized programs geared for all fitness levels. The programs offering well balanced classes incorporating Cardio, strength, Mind & Body (Flow).

We are currently recruiting for a Group Fitness Instructor.

Job Duties:

• Instruct challenging and enthusiastic group fitness classes for members of all levels;
• Ensure group fitness training methods and techniques conform to standardized Fuse training practices;
• Provides exceptional Group Fitness classes, programs and service to meet the diverse needs of new and existing clients;
• Build and sustain relationships with new and existing Fuse members;
• Provide reliable Group Fitness class instruction by ensuring that classes start and end on time, and all classes are covered consistently;
• Responsible for creating a fun and welcoming environment for all members;
• Proactively seek feedback (positive and constructive) from class participants and share feedback with Manager with a view to continuously improve the program.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience is required;
• 3+ years related Group Fitness instruction experience required leading Cardio, TRX, Step, Zumba, Dance, HIIT, Boot camp, Yoga, Tai Chi, Choreography based, and/or strength based classes;
• Successful completion of the nationally recognized in AFLCA, Can Fit Pro, YMCA/ YWCA certification is required;
• Additional nationally recognized certifications are an asset;
• Additional certifications to teach specialized classes, special populations, and Older Adult fitness are an asset;
• Successful completion of additional health and nutrition certification programs an asset;
• Hours of work for this position are irregular and vary by program and client appointments (includes days, evenings, and weekends).
